Hello, Adorable Essentials family. ❤️
Several years ago, you took a journey with me.
It started with a pair of Shorties and took me down a path I never could have imagined.
The destination wasn’t exactly what I had planned, but the journey? I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
What was supposed to be a little hobby grew into something so much bigger. You ordered. You shared pictures of your babies. You celebrated milestones with me. I watched children grow up through the photos you sent. Somewhere along the way, customers became friends, and Adorable Essentials became an extended family.
Then COVID came, life changed, and that chapter eventually came to an end.
But I’ve learned that just because a chapter ends doesn’t mean we leave it behind.
The Adorable Essentials years will always be incredibly special to me—the memories, the friendships, the lessons, and all of you who trusted me to be a tiny part of your families’ lives.
And as I’ve gotten older, I’ve become much more sentimental about the things we leave behind.
I find myself thinking about keepsakes and, even more importantly, the stories behind them.
Someone might look at a ring and see just a ring.
I look at one particular ring and see my grandmother.
It was given to her by her father, and it was the only piece of jewelry she had ever known. Its value could never be measured by what it cost. Its value is in knowing where it came from, whose hands held it before mine, and the story that could so easily disappear if no one took the time to tell it.
And I started wondering…
How many things do we have tucked away in jewelry boxes, closets, attics, cabinets, and drawers that mean everything to us—but someday, the people we love may have no idea why?
Maybe it’s your grandmother’s ring.
Your dad’s watch.
A recipe card written in your mother’s handwriting.
The Christmas ornament your child made in kindergarten.
Or maybe it’s that very first Matilda Jane dress you bought at Art Fair after sleeping on the sidewalk with 300 of your closest friends—and if you know, you KNOW. 😂❤️
To someone else, it’s just a dress.
To you, it’s a whole chapter of your life.
That’s the part I couldn’t stop thinking about.
Because our things tell stories. But unless we tell those stories, eventually they’re just…things.
And that thought became my next adventure.
So, my dear Adorable Essentials family, after all these years, I’m asking you to take another journey with me.

That’s why I created Keepsaker.
The things we leave behind have stories. Keepsaker helps make sure those stories don’t get left behind with them.
Adorable Essentials started with a pair of Shorties.
Keepsaker started with a ring.
And somehow, both started with the same thing: realizing that the smallest things can hold some of life’s biggest memories.
So here we go again. ❤️
